Snoop Dogg was charged Tuesday with felony gun and marijuana charges, the Los Angeles County District Attorney announced.
The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, faces up to four years in state prison if convicted. His arraignment was set for Wednesday.
Snoop was arrested Oct. 26 at Burbank's airport after a handgun and marijuana were found in his car, police say. Police executing a search warrant at his suburban Los Angeles home in November allegedly discovered another gun.
Because Snoop is a convicted felon from a 1990 cocaine trafficking bust, he is forbidden from possessing a gun for life. (SOURCE PEOPLE.COM)

, producers Jon and Christine Peters' wild 18-year-old daughter, found out on Friday how volatile young love could be. Just days after a rep for Jon confirmed Caleigh was engaged to Rod Stewart's son, Sean, 27, the rocker's rebel child (who stars with Randy Spelling in A&E's "Sons of Hollywood") kicked her out of his Beverly Hills home. "Christine had to go pick up a crying Caleigh from Sean's house and get all of her things. She wouldn't say what happened but was very upset," a friend said.(SOURCE NY POST)

HEY, Naomi Campbell - MTV is trying to get hold of you! The music network was set to start shooting a reality show called "The Minion" with Campbell on Friday, which would have followed the garbage-lugging lunatic in her search for a new (and presumably pugilistic) assistant. But it had to cancel the show when Campbell stopped returning calls. "Producers were on the phone with her all the time, setting up the show with her and her manager - but then last week MTV stopped getting their calls returned," our source said. "The show is pulped. They don't understand why Naomi won't call back." An MTV rep said, "The show is still in production." But Jeff Raymond, Campbell's latest rep, e-mailed, "That is not true. There is no show." The confusion might have arisen because the flighty model has told several people that they can represent her - and no one at MTV is sure which manager repped her. Besides Campbell's longtime adviser Bethanne Hardison, Hollywood hotshot Bernie Cahill also thought he repped Campbell - something IMG says it does exclusively. IMG says it was unaware of a show ever being in production.(SOURCE NY POST)

RYAN Phillippe is single and on the prowl. Reese Witherspoon's soon-to-be ex was out drinking with buddy Joseph Gordon-Levitt last Thursday at the Chateau Marmont in L.A. and, according to our spy, got a little rowdy. "He was really obnoxious," we're told. "He started screaming at these girls, 'Hey, you're hot! Get over here!' The girls just ignored him." Phillippe and Gordon-Levitt tried their luck with several other women before leaving for the more fertile grounds of Teddy's. Phillippe's rep didn't return calls.(SOURCE NY POST)

SEAN "Poison" Penn has native Hawaiians up in arms. The acerbic Oscar winner and his family have been staying at the posh Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, which is undergoing an expansion that residents say poses an environmental threat to the coastline and desecrates sacred ancestral burial grounds, reports One Hawaiian told the Web site: "It's bad enough that Turtle Bay is built upon my ancestors' bones, but the idea that Sean Penn would pay to support what we've been protesting for 30 years makes me sick." Penn's rep did not return our call.(SOURCE NY POST)

LINDSAY Lohan might have learned her fun-loving ways from her mom, Dina. Mama Lohan headed to Miami last weekend and partied like a teenager, our source said. On Friday, she and friends drank poolside at the Shore Club before moving on to Grass, where she ordered bottle service for her table and stayed for hours. The next night, she and a group of 20-somethings hit Suite, where they downed vodka and cranberry drinks and champagne - racking up a $750 bill, which the club graciously comped. Dina left the waitress a mere $100 tip, we hear. Dina, however, disputes the tale: "We weren't drinking at all . . . We were there to see a DJ named Justin and possibly sign him," she told Page Six.(SOURCE NY POST)
